The Wine Front – I’d maybe drink sparkling wine (of any style) only a handful of times per year, though I do really like this offering from Torzi. It’s dry, it’s flavoursome, it has no hard edges or abrasion, with a gentle almost silky and creamy texture, a saline complexity, fine bubbles and a long dry slightly grainy finish. Outside of that it has some lime leaf and floral perfume, lemon zest, finger lime and green apple, maybe oatmeal, and drinks a charm. Tasted: Jan23 12% alc. $28 Cork Drink: 2023 - 2027 - Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.

Wine Enthusiast – The latest nonvintage from Australia’s most famous Tasmanian sparkling producer is a tasty drop at a bargain price. A blend of Champagne’s three classic varieties, this bottling combines fruit from the north and south of the island. Eighteen months on lees results in a bubbly that is mostly fruit driven—lemon, apple and pear—with the yeast-derived brioche notes serving as a backdrop. Wine Enthusiast

The Wine Front – “Organic shiraz is the bedrock for this traditionally made sparkling wine. Tart and zingy, tightly wound bubbles, skittish and refreshing. Quiet perfume of raspberry and white strawberries, a dash of spice. Flavours set to similar spectrum with a squeeze of blood orange and tangerine, ie a little cloying sweetness in the pithy, off-dry citrus mix. Really delicious drinking and damn easy to do so. A nicely put together, elementary sparkling wine of character.” - Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
James Halliday – "Hand-picked organic shiraz from the Weightman's Block 3. Whole-bunch pressed, made in the traditional method. This is uncomplicated and delicious. Pomegranate and blackberry are the dead giveaway to shiraz, plus lashings of raspberry and watermelon that keep things light. This right here is perfect summer rosé." - Erin Larkin, Wine Companion
