About This Wine
Gold Medal; International Wine Challenge, London 2020
“A benchmark aged Clare Valley Riesling. A nose of hot buttered toast with lime marmalade. Absolutely delicious with incredible length.”
Brilliant water like colour with faint greenish tinge and watery hue. The nose displays good aromatic lift with lime and citrus top notes followed by some orange rind, light talc and mineral end notes. Concentrated lemon and lime flavours are to the fore supported by a steely backbone with a crisp mineral infused finish. Long aftertaste of lemon, lime and mineral. Drink now with freshly shucked oysters or cellar for 5 - 20 years (2011-2031).
'A gold medal winner at the 2020 International Wine Challenge in London, this Riesling has aged spectacularly.'
