Allen Meadows – A restrained nose flashes only a touch of exotic character on the spicy aromas of mostly yellow orchard fruit, iodine and rose petal. There is excellent underlying tension to the larger-scaled flavors that brim with both minerality and dry extract that complements well the bright and firm acidity shaping the lingering finale. This is potentially excellent and one to check out. *Sweet Spot, Outstanding*

Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – Tree sap, melted candle wax and a touch of diesel are all here, a decidedly intoxicating bouquet. The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp acidity, hints of lemon and orange rinds. It is more austere than other Goisots, but there is a superb lemongrass and stem ginger finish that keeps this on its toes." 91 points, Neal Martin

World Wine – "The 2015 Irancy Les Cailles is lovely, unwinding in the glass with youthful aromas of red cherries, plums, raw cocoa and spicy forest floor. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and supremely elegant, with juicy balancing acids and tannins that caress the palate, concluding with a chalky finish. Like all of Richoux's 2015's, it's thrilling to taste now, but the real fireworks will come with some bottle age. Drinking window: 2020 - 2035" William Kelly, Wine Advocate

Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – Shimmering violet colour. Primary red and blue fruit aromas, along with suggestions of olive, smoked meats and cracked pepper. Offers fleshy, appealingly sweet cherry and blackberry flavours that turn spicier and firm up through the back half. Subtly chewy tannins add grip to a long smoky finish that leaves cherry and spice notes behind.

Allen Meadows – Here too there is a touch of wood setting off citrus and mineral reduction scents. There is fine volume to the delicious and impressively voluminous flavors that possess excellent punch on the stony and solidly complex finale. Once again this is really good stuff for its level. 88 points, Allen Meadows, Burghound, Issue 60
Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – “The Bourgogne Cotes d'Auxerre Biaumont has hints of dried honey and dried quince on the well-defined bouquet, peach skin developing with aeration. The palate is very well balanced with crisp acidity, citrus fresh with orange rind and dried apricot. I love the focus and penetration here, the finish overflowing with energy and precision. What a fabulous wine, one that comes strongly recommended.” 93 points, Neal Martin, The Wine Advocate #226
