About This Wine
The Heinrich is named after Rolf Heinrich Binder, founder of the family winery. Rolf Binder Junior created this wine as a tribute to his father who dearly loved the blend of Shiraz, Mataro and Grenache. This is an estate wine with the shiraz coming from the Stephanie vineyard and the mataro from the Chri-Ro vineyard planted in 1972, both of which adjoin the winery. The Grenache is sourced from a Western Ridge vineyard at Gomersal, planted in the early 1950s.
