Decanter – “Half the blend is from the oldest Semillon vineyard in California with the Sauvignon Blanc from Oak Knoll. Co-fermented in 25% new French oak, aged statically on lees for 10 months then kept in bottle for three years before release. Nose of candied lemon and beeswax with a layer of woodsmoke and spice. The palate is fleshy and textured with a hint of honey, balanced by fresh acidity.” - Michelle Cherutti-Kowal MW, Decanter

Wine Spectator – Very rich and refined, chunky and tannic, this full-bodied red offers a pretty core of ripe wild berry and black cherry flavors, with cedar, tobacco, sage and dried currant notes, firming and turning chewy. Best from 2013 through 2024.
Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – The 2008 Melbury flows across the palate with layers of dark sensual fruit, spices, licorice, leather and tobacco. Clean veins of minerality frame the fruit beautifully through to the finish. Floral notes add an element of brightness on the close. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2023.
or $474.99 in any mix of 12 bottles.
Wine Spectator – Offers a mix of mocha, loamy earth, espresso, dried currant, blueberry, wild berry and cedary sage-charcoal notes. Full-bodied and drying, complex and concentrated. Best from 2012 through 2022.
Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – The 2008 Pluribus is a gorgeous wine laced with black fruit, menthol, minerals, spices and licorice. It shows fabulous density and richness through to the finish. This is a very typical Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025.
or $474.99 in any mix of 12 bottles.
Wine Spectator – Firm and structured, with loamy earth, mocha and espresso, this is ripe and lively, with currant, blueberry and wild berry notes that are pleasingly subtle and detailed. Even more expansive and syrupy on the finish. Best from 2012 through 2022.
Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – The 2008 Quella is a dark, brooding wine loaded with super-ripe dark black fruit, smoke, tar and licorice. It is a seriously intense wine that will require bottle age. This is an especially authoritative wine from Bond.
or $474.99 in any mix of 12 bottles.
Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – A blend of 62% Grenache Blanc and 38% Roussanne, the 2011 Le Cigare Blanc Beeswax Vineyard was aged in 30% French oak, on lees, for 8 months. Exotic and complex, it gives up notions of ripe peach, dried grass and citrus blossom to go with a medium-bodied, supple and nicely texture profile. It, too, is beautifully made, and should be consumed over the coming couple of years.
or $54.14 in any mix of 12 bottles.
Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – Another terrific wine is the 2013 Pinot Noir Nielson Vineyard, which was completely destemmed and aged 16 months in 40% new French oak. Still showing its oak elevage, with lots of caramelized cherry, black raspberry, sweet oak and spice, it hits the palate with a seamless, silky, gorgeously pure texture that carries plenty of fruit and finishes clean and dry, with notable tannic grip. Give it a year or two in the cellar to integrate its oak and drink bottles through 2021. JD, 92+ points, Robert Parker Wine Advocate 28 Aug, 2015

Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – Robert Parker - A brilliant wine from winemaker Chris Carpenter and the Kendall-Jackson family, this blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Merlot, mostly coming from mountain vineyards owned by the Jackson family, is fabulous. The 2013 Cardinale Proprietary Red Wine is dense purple-colored, a big, sweet kiss of crème de cassis as well as licorice, blackberry and espresso are all present in this full-bodied, rather sublime and intense Cabernet Sauvignon that should drink well for 25 or more years. This was aged in about 91% new French oak for 18-20 months prior to bottling. It is certainly one of the finest Cardinales I have tasted in my experience.
