Texture, flavour, a bit of difference. You’d jump at a glass of this every time. It tastes of pear, brine and apple and has an exaggerated floral lift, almost raspberry-like. Or honey and wax maybe. You get the drift. It works a treat.
Wine Enthusiast – Picked two weeks later than the Summer of '69 bottling, one-third of the 2017 The Violinist Verdelho was fermented and aged in French oak. It's rich, tropical and ripe, with flavors of honeyed melon, lime and white pepper. Full-bodied, intense and hugely textural, it finishes with hints of anise and a touch of alcoholic warmth (15.5% alcohol).
