Read about Ca’Romé
Ca’ is short for casa – home. Ca’Romé is both home to winemaker Romano Marengo and family and to classic Piedmontese red wine-making. Located at the top of the Rabajà hill, Barbaresco’s historical cru, the house overlooks an endless vista of gently sloping Langhe country. Their five hectares of old vine vineyards include the renowned crus of Rio Sordo in Barbaresco and Cerretta in Serralunga and the average annual production is 30,000 bottles. The wines of Ca’Romé are elegant and balanced with exquisite perfume and impressive structure that reward, and often demand, cellaring.
