The winery's Sauvignon Blanc is lauded for its vibrant acidity, lush tropical fruit flavors, and aromatic intensity. Moreover, Framingham has also made notable strides with its Rieslings, offering a beautiful balance of sweetness and acidity, which delight the palate with notes of lime, peach, and floral undertones. Framingham wines hail from the heart of the Marlborough wine region, situated on New Zealand's South Island. This region, with its combination of cool maritime climate and diverse soil types, provides an ideal environment for vine growth and grape maturation. Framingham takes advantage of the rich alluvial soils and distinct microclimates in its vineyards, extracting the purest expressions of the terroir in each bottle. The winery is situated close to the Wairau River, benefiting from its moderating influence which helps to ensure consistent grape ripening year after year.
While all of Framingham's offerings are meticulously crafted, their Sauvignon Blanc often stands out as a hallmark of Marlborough's wine production. This wine's pronounced tropical fruit notes, intertwined with hints of gooseberry and citrus, have made it a favorite among many enthusiasts. Their Riesling, particularly the noble late harvest variant, is another standout, acclaimed for its honeyed sweetness contrasted against a backbone of crisp acidity. Additionally, Framingham's Pinot Noir, with its layered complexity, lush red fruit flavors, and silky tannins, showcases the winery's ability to masterfully handle red varietals as well.
Framingham wines offer a broad spectrum of price points, catering to both everyday wine lovers and collectors seeking premium bottles.
