Alsace in north-east France is home to the world’s greatest dry Rieslings alongside the ultimate examples of Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris. Maison LouisSipp have been producing classical expressions of Alsace’s aromatic varieties since the 1920s.
Since Etienne Sipp took over the reins in 1996, introducing both organic techniques
in the vineyard and upgrades in the winery, the estate has risen to new heights
of critical acclaim. Their vineyards surround Ribeauville, in the heart of Alsace’s route
du vin and consist of two exceptional grand cru vineyards; Kirchberg & Osterberg.
