Sourced from Blocks 111–113 at the highest elevation of the Hickinbotham vineyard in Clarendon. A southerly aspect provides respite from the hot afternoon sun during ripening, ensuring this fruit is the last Grenache harvested, with a very long hang time on the vine and a very well-developed flavour profile. The highest altitude wine in the range, with vibrancy and crisp acid drive.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eVintage\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e2025 was a short and sharp vintage, the earliest Aphelion has seen, with all fruit picked within a month. A warmer than average winter brought the whole season forward, so the ripening period was similar in length to prior years, and lovely late ripening temperatures delivered wines of high concentration and intense colour.
