Brad (AKA Brash Higgins) hasn’t messed with it too much, but he’s definitely put his stamp on it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eFor the 2022, he went with 50% whole bunches and a wild ferment, followed by a long nap - 20 months - in seasoned French puncheons. It’s got a real presence in the glass. You get a hit of dark cherry and choc-raspberry right up front, backed by hazelnut and spice. It’s slinky and soft but has enough grip to let you know it’s serious. There’s a warmth to it that feels very traditional McLaren Vale, but with that textural 'new school' lift Brad is famous for.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe label features artwork by Sydney painter Alesandro Ljubicic, which matches the bold, vibrant feel of the juice inside.
