About This Wine
Miranius is a lively young wine that is very vibrant and ages well in the bottle. It is made mainly from the Mediterranean variety Xarel·lo, with subtle notes of Macabeu.. To achieve this, they work with very low production volumes in the vineyards, taking great care over ripening with the aim of producing wines with natural, fresh acidity. This wine may contain natural sediments.

Robert Parker/Wine Advocate – There is a new label here, the 2013 Miranius, an entry-level, young white produced with Xarello and 14% Macabeo grapes from a diversity of their own vineyards. All these characterful whites reward aeration and time in the glass (or even a decanter) and after a few minutes I detected some unusual aromas of morel mushrooms and curry that took me to the yellow wines of the Jura. It has a chalky minerality plus straight and fresh acidity that is great. This is a real bargain!
