Cillar de Silos 'Estate' Tinto Fino 2015
This shows all the hallmarks of Cillar de Silos and the exceptional Spanish 2015 vintage. Creamed cherry with chipotle and adobe earthiness, cepes-like ‘shroominess and fennelly spice, all marked by the fine perfume of the local clay. It’s perfectly balanced in the mouth, with the generous inky blue fruit profile cut by admirable fruit tannin which is long and open, carrying finely judged oak, natural spice and acid. Gorgeous, fluid and long.

World Wine – The Cillar de Silos Crianza is produced with the fruit from different old-vine plots (40 to 50 years of age) on sand and lime soils, feels quite classical, with aromas of ripe black fruit, spicy oak and an herbal side that adds freshness. The palate is remarkably fresh for the vintage, with polished, fine tannins and enough acidity. A very good crianza.
