About This Wine
The Moli Bianco is drawn from a 15-hectare organic site in Terre degli Osci and made from Falanghina in its entirety. Falanghina is considered somewhat of a local heroine grape around these parts. At its best, it's extremely full of exotic character and in this case, marked by honeysuckle and orange citrus freshness. The grapes are macerated on their skins for up to 24 hours to develop a more flavoured/textural mesh. The must is then fermented and matured in stainless steel and is spotlessly clean, racy and tangy. The nose is dominated by citrus peel, fresh cut lime and white flowers whilst the palate is zippy and freshly spotless. As with its rosso counterpart, this is simply fabulous value. While this is (probably) a perfect match for Asian-inspired fish/shellfish dishes (Black Pepper Crab, please), this Limoncello-scented mouthful of spring offers scrumptious drinking with or without food.
