{"product_id":"harewood-flux-v-pinot-noir-2025","title":"Harewood Flux V Pinot Noir 2025","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis Pinot Noir has been produced from Harewood Estate’s F-block. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis block has been planted with a selection of the “Dijon” clones, which are part of a small group of unique clones that were identified, isolated and propagated by University of Dijon researcher Dr Raymond Bernard from the best performing, highest pedigree Pinot vineyards in Burgundy – clones 114, 115, and 777. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThese clones have been attributed with producing wines of excellent aroma, structure, intensity and balance. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eF block is a north facing site with a gentle slope on gravely karri loam soils. The pinot is dry grown. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe wine was matured in a mix of new and older French oak barriques for 12 months prior to blending and bottling. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe wine has been bottled without fining and filtration to preserve the inherent delicate complexities of cool climate Pinot noir and therefore may have a slightly cloudy appearance. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe presence of these fine “lees” will help the Pinot to develop and soften with careful cellaring. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eA light crimson with hints of purple. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAn intense nose of black cherry and dark fruits supported by complex hints of liquorice and spice. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eRich flavours of blackberry and ripe plum are complemented by more complex notes of spice and aniseed on the mid palate.
