{"product_id":"harewood-reserve-cabernet-sauvignon-2021","title":"Harewood Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2021","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis wine is a blend of premium parcels of Cabernet sauvignon sourced from specialist vineyards in Frankland River and Mount Barker in the Great Southern, Western Australia. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe Cabernet sauvignon from the Frankland River vineyard provides rich, dark notes balanced by the brighter elegance of the grapes from the cooler, more southerly Mount Barker vineyard. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe individual parcels of fruit were “cold-soaked” prior to fermentation with specialised yeast isolated from vineyards in Bordeaux. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis pre-ferment treatment permits a gentler extraction of tannins, whilst enhancing fruit intensity. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe wine then underwent malolactic fermentation and maturation in an equal mix of new and one-year old French oak barriques.
