This is a historical method of making Pinot Grigio, usually reserved for those from the Friuli region of Italy. The grapes are crushed and the skins are allowed to spend a bit of time with the juice. The resulting wine has a fuller texture and a pale pinkish hue.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIt's kind of like dry rose meets orange wine, but all buzzwords aside, this wine tastes really, really good. Produced from high elevation sites scattered throughout Victoria, this has a wonderful bouquet of white peach, Bosc pear, white flowers, and exotic spices.
