About This Wine
Bright cassis and red cherry aromas surround a bouquet of coffeebean and black olives. A velvety textured palate with great length of flavour and roundness. The dash of Tempranillo contributes subtle savoury nuance to the finish of the palate, approachable now but will reward further cellaring.
This wine is characterised by lifted red cherry and cranberry notes together with spicy cassis undertones. A soft velvety texture with great length of flavour is a reflection of how well these varieties, from Eden Valley, marry together. A dash of Tempranillo contributes subtle savoury nuances to the finish of the palate. Cellar to 2025.
|Varietal(s)||Shiraz/Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon|
|Brand||Sons of Eden|
The Wine Front – Cabernet Sauvignon makes up 54% of the blend, shiraz the remainder. It’s all Eden Valley fruit. It’s certainly pumped up with flavour. It’s a ball of sweet, ripe berries, black and red, blue and woodsmoke-infused. Clove notes, a clip of toast, a whisper of green herbs. Ripe, generous style of red. Minimum of fuss. All-will-enjoy.
