The 2024 is sourced from four sites: Short Flat, NVC, Old Hut and Old Hillside. Their vines average around 50 years of age and are rooted in red clay over limestone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eFew producers understand medium-bodied Hunter Shiraz the way Tyrrell’s do, and this release shows that expertise at its best. The fruit was picked by hand and sorted in the vineyard, and each block was fermented separately in open-top vats. The wine then spent 14 months in large 2,700-litre French oak casks.
