It was distilled in Scotland on January 14, 2008, and aged for 15 years before being bottled in 2023. The whisky was matured in an Oloroso sherry butt in Michel Couvreur's cellar in Burgundy, France. It is known for being unpeated and having a balance of fruity, spicy, and floral notes.
