The emblematic figure that the Poisson distillery, located in Marie-Galante, has decided to pay tribute, by producing the famous Père Labat rum. Today we discover this cuvée L’Or, made from pure sugar cane juice.
What strikes first and foremost is its colour: it displays a magnificent golden dress, from which it takes its name.
This colour comes from its maturation: this amber rum has, in fact, rested for three years in French oak tuns, and, during its contact with the noble wood of the barrel, its colour has gradually darkened until achieved this unique hue.
