We also have access to more than 5000 fine wines from around the world through our local supplier network. Sometimes a vintage changes, or our suppliers sell out of stock without us yet being able to push through a timely update on our website.

Located in the Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellations of the Rhône, M. Chapoutier makes collectible red Rhône wines as well as Marsanne, including the Ermitage L'Ermite Blanc label. M. Chapoutier wines are known for being pure expressions of not just terroir, but also of traditional Rhône grape varieties. The estate farms its vineyards biodynamically and believes in the concept of mono-cépage, where each wine is produced entirely from a single grape variety. Chapoutier believes that blending mutes, rather than enhances, the character they seek from their wines. Today, Chapoutier wines are considered benchmarks for the region. The best M. Chapoutier vintages include 2018 and 2017 as well as historically well-performing vintages such as 2015, 2013, 2010, and 2008. Joe Czerwinski of Wine Advocate gave the 2017 vintage a perfect score, saying, “It perfectly balances richness and power with refinement and structure.” Fine M. Chapoutier wines make an excellent choice for the investor or collector, and Vinfolio is pleased to offer a selection of vintages with excellent provenance from this producer.
