Tenuta Ulisse ‘Masserì’ Primitivo IGP 2021
Its name derives from its early maturation. Its origin is uncertain, while its arrival in Italy is due to the Benedictines, who introduced it in the 17th century.
Vinification: Pressing - destemming 15/20 days of maceration and alcoholic fermentation in steel at 24-26°C Aging: A part of the mass refines in fine American and French oak barriques. Organoleptic characteristics, pairings: A very thick purple red wine with ruby reflections. Very dense bouquet of small berries, blackberries and plums, with delicate floral notes. Impressive, elegant, austere taste, supported by smooth tannins and a vibrant acid-mineral vein. Endless finish in perfect correspondence with the sense of smell. Roasts and meat sauces, braised meats, feathered and furred game and great cheeses. Serving temperature: 18°C
