A very relaxed family owned winery established in1858 and operated by the legendary Bill Chambers and his son Stephen- the 6th generation of this family to make wine at Rosewood. Internationally acclaimed for Muscats, Tokays (Muscadelles/Topaque) There is a comprehensive range of fortified wines. Table wines are also produced and are available upon request. It is made from a base wine of Palomino, which is fortified both prior to and after being placed under flor yeast for a period of 2 to 3 years. Freshness of the flor character is maintained by only bottling small quantities at a time.

Critic reviews
James Halliday – Bright, clear golden orange hue. Even though very young, its time in oak has added some complexity to the wanton display of malt, butterscotch, cold tea, nuts and spices. It is lusciously sweet, of course, yet leaves the mouth fresh. It is ludicrously good value for 750ml. But do remember, it won't change with age, the upside that it will last for many, many weeks after being opened.
