About this Wine

This unusual blend mirrors the famous Alsatian ‘Gentil’ styles marrying the body of Pinot Gris, the exuberance of Pinot Blanc with the spice aromatics of Gewürztraminer and the finesse of Riesling. Pale yellow in colour, the nose shows plenty of exotic notes: honeysuckle, orange blossom and dried orange skin. Textural and generous on the palate with a roundness and mouthcoating quality, pear tarte tatin and lemon curd frame the long finish.

Tasmanian Wine

The Tasmanian wine region is a cool climate region, the most southerly of all wine regions in Australia. Due to the lower temperatures, the area grows primarily Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, with smaller plantings of Riesling, Pinot Gris and Cabernet Sauvignon.
