Once uncorked, the Vermentino di Gallura Costamolino, with its fragrant fruity aromas, immediately brings to mind summer and seaside lunches under a pergola. This fresh, clean wine is a joy to drink and pairs beautifully with fish dishes or vegetable-based pasta dishes. Vinified and aged exclusively in stainless steel tanks, the Vermentino di Sardegna DOC “Costamolino” from Argiolas is the perfect wine for an aperitif or to accompany a delicious dinner, even a vegetarian one.
A bright, pale straw color, it offers aromas of jasmine, white peach, and lime, aromatic herbs, and hints of salt and sea salt. On the palate, it immediately reveals a good balance between a light hint of heat and a pleasant acidity, delicately savory and with a subtle citrus finish. It pairs well with seafood appetizers, fish soups, soft and medium-aged cheeses, and even as an aperitif.
