We also have access to more than 5000 fine wines from around the world through our local supplier network. Sometimes a vintage changes, or our suppliers sell out of stock without us yet being able to push through a timely update on our website.

Lark Hill Chardonnay 2019
Description
Description
2019 was a year of warm ripening conditions and continued drought, resulting in tiny yields of intense, concentrated fruit. These vines were planted in in 1980 - some of the oldest Chardonnay in our region. The juice was gently pressed to french oak barrels - a mix of new, 1st and 2nd fill to give around 30% new oak. Indigenous yeasts completed fermentation in around 21 days and the wine was matured for 12 months on solids. This is a powerful, balanced and vibrant expression of Chardonnay from our vineyard - the pure, white-peach fruit underscored by subtle spicy oak and enhanced with wild-ferment funk.
