Description
The Great Southern is renowned for its finely structured, elegant and long-lived Rieslings. Each of the 5 sub-regions is different in the way Riesling is expressed; part of the wonder of exploring Riesling from the Great Southern. We have utilized Riesling from 2 vineyards for this wine; one in the central Mt Barker subregion and the other in the larger Frankland subregion.The 2021 Sabotage has classic preserved lemon citrus, with some lime curd and wet granite complexity. The barrel fermentation contributes richness and weight to the mid palate but the finish has typical Great Southern Riesling line with a pearskin and chalky acidity.
