Description
Description
Pauillac de Latour 2014 is the third wine of the famous Château Latour. It is a blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot and shows a dark purple colour.
On the nose, the Pauillac de Latour 2014 exhibits a light bouquet of graphite and black fruits, dominated by blackberries, as well as a tertiary touch of undergrowth and forest soils.
On the palate, the Pauillac de Latour 2014 is medium-bodied. The attack is powerful, with a bright acidity line. The slightly spicy black fruit aromas diffuse and evolve on the palate until a subtle iodine touch emerges on the finish.
The Pauillac de Latour 2014 will be a quality choice for amateurs who want to discover the Latour style without breaking the bank.
It is best served with a fine game dish such as deer or quail.
