Our 2023 Byrne Farm "Glenidle Vineyard" Pinot Noir is an our inaugural release, sourced from our two hectare vineyard we planted on our property in Nashdale historically referred to as 'Glenidle'. Grown at just above 900m above sea level, our vineyard was purposely planted to a mix of five clones of Pinot Noir 667, 115, 114, Abel and 777, each clone adding different attributes, handpicked, 100% destemmed to whole berry, cold soaked and plunged once daily before being pressed and aged in large French oak for nine months. This wine shows bright dark cherry, raspberry fruits with subtle spice and perfume. Our Pinot Noir is fresh and crunchy with a delicate palate and a powerful fruit finish.
