The Olianas Vermentino di Sardegna DOC organic white wine from the Sardinia region is straw yellow in color and has distinct floral aromas and orange blossom notes. The palate is fresh, fruity, and elegant. The Sardinian wine par excellence. Approximately 20% of the grapes are harvested slightly early. The skin fermentation takes place partly in steel tanks and partly in amphorae (10%), without the addition of selected yeasts and according to the Biointegrale method. This small amount is used as natural yeast in the spontaneous fermentation. The remaining grapes ferment in steel tanks at 14-16°C following destemming and light pressing. It has intense notes of red grapefruit and lemon with hints of spices and bread crust. On the palate, the wine is refreshing and round with a very pleasant finish. It pairs excellently with seafood and fish, as well as appetizers and salads.
