Description

Verdicchio is one of Italy's noble indigenous varieties. Only grown on the east coast of the "boot" in the region called Le Marche. Some of Italy's most acclaimed white wines hail from this area, Castelli di Jesi, with it's beautiful rolling hills rather Tuscan-like, and the cooling influence of the blue seas of the Adriatic. Lime fruit zestiness, lots of citrus flavour and a long summertime fresh finish. Great with salads, pasta and rice dishes.
