James Halliday – Some whole bunches, a gentle hand plunging twice a day and 10 months in barriques (30% new). A fabulous crimson purple. Gently brooding with its aromas of dark cherry and raspberries together with scents of roses in full bloom and a little sous bois. Medium bodied and very persistent on the beautifully structured and intense palate. This will need some time, but your patience will be fully rewarded. Philip Rich - Published 11 February 2025

Bright crimson in appearance, with a bouquet of violets, ripe black cherry fruits, a little rose petal lift, and a faint hint of smoky char. A fleshy, flavoursome cherry fruit palate with a pinch of aniseed spice that tames the fruit and adds complexity. Silky elegance and fine tannin structure, enhanced by some bunch inclusion, create a medium-bodied yet powerful Pinot Noir.
