About this Wine

This is a white Burgundy made from 100% Chardonnay grown in Mercurey, in the Côte Chalonnaise region of eastern France. Domaine Faiveley is a respected seventh-generation producer known for classic, long-lived wines. Clos Rochette has been a Faiveley monopole since 1933 and is planted on compact clay-limestone soils.

Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in both oak barrels and stainless steel vats to balance freshness with subtle richness. The wine is aged for 16 months, with 25% new oak used to add gentle weight and depth.
