BEST CHARDONNAY
Mornington Wine Show
'The Paringa' Chardonnay 2021 is their most awarded Chardonnay ever!
Complex aromas of stone fruit, citrus and barrel ferment sulphide notes, lead onto a textured palate with delicate stone fruit flavours, poised acidity, and a long savoury finish. 2021 was an excellent vintage for Chardonnay and this is undoubtedly one of Australia's best examples.
"The high acid year has favoured the suite of chardonnays, resulting in a finely tuned and tighter than usual The Paringa Chardonnay. No shrinking violet though - packed with stone fruit, grapefruit and Meyer lemon and a powder puff of spices, honeycomb and malt. Savoury, long and detailed, even lipsmacking. Classy stuff."

Mornington Peninsula Wines
South of Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula grape growing region has a cool, maritime climate that is most known for their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay production. Other varieties that have seen some success here include Pinot Gris and Tempranillo.
However, it does seem that Pinot Noir is their focus judging from the fact that The Mornington Peninsula International Pinot Noir Celebration is held once every two years. The event displays the region’s capabilities in making some of Australia’s finest Pinot Noir in front of local and international audiences.
