About This Wine
Grown and specifically made for maximum depth and mouth-coating richness, this is a truly big and buttery Chardonnay from Australia's leading region for the style. Given a long and slow malo fermentation before oak maturation in oak. The result is a butter compound count two to thre times the average Chardonnay. Rich and ripe nose with clear buttery overtones floating above aromas of peach and ripe melon. The palate is rich and thick with peach and almost apricot flavours, a mouth coating texture and subtle but evident oak character. Still in its youth, this wine will gain weight, length and complexity over the next few years.
