Brouilly is the largest and furthest south of the Beaujolais crus and has a good southeastern exposure, at the bottom of the Saône Valley at an altitude of 200 to 300 metres. The subsoil consists of granite debris ancient alluvium, sand stones and blue- tinged schist. It’s a result of a traditional method and aged in concrete tank. The vinification is medium length in order to get some structure while preserving the freshness of the fruit. To enjoy the aromas of the 2021 vintage, drink it between its third and fifth year. This 100% Gamay is fresh, elegant and fleshy wine with aromas of blackberries, peonies and black cherries.
