About This Wine
We aim to make a Rose with personality. A wine that has bright fruit flavours and a textured palate. To achieve this style, we tank ferment three quarters of the juice at low temperatures, which allows the aromas and fresh fruit flavours to develop. The remaining 25% juice is barrel fermented with wild yeast, which adds texture and complexity.
It has lifted aromas of summer berry fruits, with hints of spice. It’s precise, pure and bone dry, with a vibrant, juicy palate full of luscious cherry and blueberry fruit. It has a fine-grained texture, and a firm dry finish.

Mornington Peninsula Wines
South of Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula grape growing region has a cool, maritime climate that is most known for their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay production. Other varieties that have seen some success here include Pinot Gris and Tempranillo.
However, it does seem that Pinot Noir is their focus judging from the fact that The Mornington Peninsula International Pinot Noir Celebration is held once every two years. The event displays the region’s capabilities in making some of Australia’s finest Pinot Noir in front of local and international audiences.
