James Halliday – NED GOODWIN - HALLIDAY'S WINE COMPANION Almost opaque across a hue of molasses and mahogany grand piano shades. Mind-boggling just how old the average component in this prodigious blend must be. Surely a centurion. Date, cinnamon, tomatillo. A Moroccan souk. Ethereal. Nutty rancio for lift and joy. Imperious, this. Rather than a dessert wine, I strongly suggest this elixir as a meditational sipper. Undoubtedly among the smattering of truly world class wines this country offers up.
