About this Wine

Borgo Luna is an aromatic sparkling wine with fine and persistent beading. Its straw-yellow colour has some greenish hues. Its smell is mainly fruity, with notes of apple and pear which enhance its freshness. A smooth wine offered in Brut version is to be tasted not only as an aperitif but also with a meal. The grapes are totally hand-picked during the month of September.

Appelation: Prosecco DOC brut spumante (certified organic)

Vinification: manual harvest, soft pressing with a pneumatic press, static decantation of the must, fermentation at controlled temperature (17-19°C) with selected yeasts.

Elevage: Aging and resting on the noble lees in steel for four months.

Second fermentation: Italian method in stainless steel autoclaves. 15-17°C. Cold tartaric stabilization (-4°C) Microfiltration before bottling to separate yeast cells from sparkling wine. Dosage: 11.5gr/litre
