Firstly we need to talk about the label. The label is the face of a wine, and the opposite is also true for Tenuta Scuotto: the FACE is the label. It was a relic, an artifact, it is now a symbol of distinction. The human features chiseled in stone add charm and a sense of history to the tasting experience.
Tenuta Scuotto Aglianico IGP is intense ruby red in colour. On the nose it is a very fruity wine, with intense with hints of cassis, blackberry and red fruit jam. The taste is dry, warm, soft, full-bodied, with good freshness and strong aromatic persistence which amplifies the notes perceived by smell. The texture of soft, well-fused tannins is notable.
