Bindi Sergardi

Bindi Sergardi is one of the great names of Chianti, with a history going back to the 14th century. The family’s coat of arms is featured in the striking labels of their wines. They own 100 hectares of prime vineyards at altitudes of 250 to 450 metres in three prestigious DOCG appellations: Chianti, Chianti Classico and Chianti Colli Senensi. Today the winery is run by Alessandra Casini Bindi Sergardi, daughter of owner Nicolo Casini, with support from viticulturalist Paolo Silei and expert oenologists Federico Cerelli and Stefano di Blasi. One of Italy’s leading woman winemakers, Alessandra is the 23rd generation of her family to make wine in Chianti. Sustainable agriculture and green energy are practised in the vineyards.
