This VS Cognac, produced by Distillerie Tessendier, is crafted from 100% Ugni Blanc grapes sourced equally from the Fins Bois and Petite Champagne crus. Double distilled in traditional Charentais copper pot stills, the spirit is first matured in new, lightly toasted French oak for six months before continuing its aging in older casks for 3 to 6 years. The nose reveals delicate floral aromas of mint, linden blossom, and apricot, while the palate is rich with dried fruit notes of apricot, banana, and pear. A spicy, herbaceous finish lingers with hints of pink peppercorn, lychee, orange zest, and ginger, creating a balanced and expressive Cognac at 40% ABV.
