Englishman Nick Thompson moved to France to study oenology back in 1985 where he met his oenologist French wife Sabine. Together they run Sabine’s family wine business Domaine de l’Ameillaud. The fruit is sourced from the estates 40‐65 year old vines, vinification is done in massive concrete tanks and there's not an oak barrel to be found on the estate. These are wines steeped with the typicity of the region and drink well above their price tag with their hallmark supple brooding fruit – a sensational QPR wine!
