Green pear, a little brine, raw almond, ripe lemon, savoury with a fine brick dust chew, a green olive martini sort of thing happening, which I very much like, some creaminess, but very bright and tight, with a gently chewy finish. Gemtree Small Batch Fiano 2022
Certified organic and biodynamic. Low preservative. Vegan friendly. This Small Batch Fiano wine instantly opens up with lifted and fragrant aromas of honeysuckle, fangipani and pear. Pear characters continues through to the palate along with hints of lemon curd and honey. The concrete egg fermentation and lees stirring adds further intrigue and complexity to the wine. It is rich, textural, and full of flavour.
