The Cirò Riserva DOC - Duca San Felice from the Librandi winery is one of the most representative red wines of the Calabrian winemaking tradition. Mainly produced from Gaglioppo grapes, an indigenous variety of the region, this wine stands out for its intensity and aromatic complexity, making it a high-level product appreciated both nationally and internationally.
Visually, the Duca San Felice presents a deep ruby red color, tending towards garnet with aging. On the nose, spicy and fruity notes emerge, with hints of morello cherry, plum, and a light trace of tobacco and chocolate conferred by maturation in wooden barrels.
On the palate, the wine is robust yet balanced, characterized by well-present but smooth tannins, which harmoniously blend with good acidity. These characteristics make it particularly suitable for aging, during which the wine further develops its complexity.
