This is a lovely entry-level wine and one that I warmly recommend to lovers of Nebbiolo who are also conscious of price. The wine sings from the glass with violet, sour cherry, raspberry, bitter almond and rose hip. There is a very ruby-colored, almost grenadine-like quality as well.

G.D. Vajra Nebbiolo Langhe displays a bright ruby red color. Perfumes are vibrant, with a floral bouquet of rose petals, violets and fresh berries, hints of dark fruit, lavender and mint. Elegant and complex on the palate with layers of crunchy red fruits, orange peel, sweet spices with earthy and mineral undertones.
