Luke Lambert Crudo Chardonnay 2017-White Wine-World Wine
Luke Lambert Crudo Chardonnay 2017

The Wine Front – “There’s going to be some very good white wines coming out of the Yarra Valley from vintage 2017, I think. Subdued wine, and while it has flavour, it’s as much about texture as anything else. A little smokiness, lemon and peel, maybe white peach and almond, but quite winey rather than fruity. Fresh and crunchy acidity, green apple and lemon barley, a fine chalk dust texture and some milk powder stuff in there too. Finish has a particularly good amount of energy, and a gustatory crunch of pithy bitterness. Pretty hard to stop drinking.” 94 points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front

Luke Lambert Crudo Shiraz 2019-Red Wine-World Wine
Luke Lambert Crudo Shiraz 2019

World Wine – It's a red wine that’s as refreshing as refreshing can be, crammed with crunchy red fruits, a nip of food-friendly tannin, great energy and impressive persistence. There is also plenty of pepper and spice in the background too that will kick in once the wine has had a few more months in bottle. A fab Crudo Shiraz.

Luke Lambert Crudo Rosé 2017-Rosé Wine-World Wine
Luke Lambert Crudo Rosé 2017

The Wine Front – Raspberry and cranberry, spice, with a nice crunch and bit of texture, juiciness and subtle savoury counterpoint, crisp and slightly earthy to close. Good drinking.

Luke Lambert Yarra Valley Syrah 2017-Red Wine-World Wine
Luke Lambert Yarra Valley Syrah 2017

The Wine Front – Boysenberry, cracked pepper, a certain sweet grassy perfume, brown bread and vanilla. Medium bodied, deft and articulate, flavour and impact without heaviness, ripples of ultra-fine tannin, again that cracked wheat/brown bread thing, and a very fine and long finish. You want Australian ‘Syrah’? You got it.
