Marqués De Irún is owned by the Grupo Caballero and has some of best vineyards within the DO Rueda, lying at an average height of 750 metres above sea level. The estate has made a name for itself specialising in the Verdejo (Verdelho) grape of the region producing two wines in their range from the grape. Marqués de Irún also produce several 100% Tempranillo wines that show great purity with smooth lines and well-judged oak - the Marqués De Irún Crianza and the Marqués De Irún Roble. One of the stars of the DO Rueda and a favourite of lovers of fine Spanish wines.
