The 2021 vintage is a wine of great balance, already showing evolved complexity despite its youth, with a deep ruby red color and classic garnet reflections, an intense and distinctive bouquet where plum and morello cherry stand out alongside notes of tobacco, vanilla, licorice root, leather, and a pronounced hint of Mediterranean scrub, while on the palate it is full-bodied, warm, and velvety with soft, well-integrated tannins, finishing clean, dry, and marked by a characteristic bitter note that defines Salice Salentino Riserva.
